Youth Sports Training

EXOS @ Raleigh Orthopaedic offers two options for youth group training:

Both classes meet Monday-Friday from 4-5:30 p.m.

These programs are designed by Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists to enhance athletic development. Sessions focus on mastery of movement mechanics as well as developing strength & speed necessary for athletes to improve their sport specific skills. These classes are comprehensive programs that work on acceleration, maximal velocity, multidirectional movement, dynamic flexibility, plyometrics, olympic lift techniques and more!

Our training methodology and programming provides for a progression within each workout and a progression from week to week. Each training session is different and is designed to maximize results without ever overtraining. Small sized classes insure quality instruction and feedback.


Each athlete in either of the two programs has the privilege of participating in the monthly testing, which is offered the first Wednesday of every month from 4-5:30 p.m. The testing may include:

  • Vertical jump
  • Broad jump
  • 20- or 40-yard sprint
  • Pro-agility shuffle
  • Push-ups
  • Pull-ups
  • 300-yard shuttle

Progress Report

In addition, the Sports Performance Coaches will provide each athlete a progress report in the form of a Skills Mastery handout upon request. This includes a checklist of exercises that the athlete has been able effectively demonstrate as well as a list of those that need further improvement. This progress report will help to ensure that each athlete has an understanding of what they need to work on and their strengths and weaknesses.
