Youth Performance Training

Ages 10-14

Classes: Monday-Friday from 5-6 p.m.


The Youth Performance program is designed by EXOS @ Raleigh Orthopaedic Performance Specialists to enhance athletic development. Sessions focus on mastery of movement mechanics as well as developing strength & speed necessary for athletes to improve their sport specific skills. These classes are comprehensive programs that work on acceleration, maximal velocity, multidirectional movement, dynamic flexibility, plyometrics, proper lifting techniques and will help athletes improve their performance.

The same performance specialists who coach our elite professional athletes will be hands on working with your athlete. A group sports nutritional seminar is included with the youth program to provide the fundamental information on how to optimally fuel the athlete and enhance recovery.

Our EXOS training methodology and programming provides for a progression within each workout and a progression from week to week. Each training session is different and is designed to maximize results without ever overtraining. Small sized classes insure quality instruction and feedback.


Evaluation

Every athlete will be evaluated through a battery of performance tests upon entry into the program. Tests may include such things as vertical jump, linear sprints, agility, strength endurance and conditioning. Athletes will be re-tested regularly in the performance testing to gauge progress.
