Will my insurance cover Sports Performance Training?

We do not file Sports Performance Training through insurance. We can provide you receipts for you to try and submit to your insurance carrier if you are coming to our ACL Return to Sports Program, but all other Sports Performance Training programs would be an out of pocket expense.

Do I have to be an “athlete” to come to the Athletic Performance Center?

We specialize in working with athletes and recreationally active people of all ages and abilities.

What are your hours of business?

Hours of business will vary depending on location and the program/service. Please contact one of the Performance Center locations for specific hours of operation.

What type of training do you do? How do I know which one to use?

We have a variety of sports performance coaches with experience with different methods of training; High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Block Periodization, Movement Mechanics, Sport Specific Training Metabolic Conditioning and other training methods. Selecting one depends ultimately on your performance goals and training availability. We would recommend speaking to one of our sports performance coaches and scheduling a trial of one of our programs.

What sports do you train?

Our Sports Performance Specialists are different from typical coaches in that they have an extensive knowledge in biomechanics and types of exercises (i.e resistance, plyometric, aerobic, speed mechanics) to develop programs for a wide variety of sports and activities. We train individuals to become more athletic. We collaborate with coaches and athletes that have areas of sport expertise and can facilitate lessons to improve those particular sport skills.

Do I need to come every day to train?

It depends on what you are trying to achieve. We recommend talking with your physical therapist or sports performance specialist to determine what will be most effective for you to achieve your goals.
