North Raleigh Staff

The professional staff at our Raleigh Orthopaedic Performance Center consists of Licensed Physical Therapists, Licensed Athletic Trainers and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists. Raleigh Orthopaedic Performance Center has years of combined experience treating and training athletes of all ages.

As a division of Raleigh Orthopaedic, we can help expedite access to appointments with the 27 orthopedic surgeons and 1 podiatrist at the Raleigh, North Raleigh, Cary, Garner, Holly Springs and Panther Creek offices for ROC.  Ancillary services are also available through ROC including urgent care, X-ray, MRI, Orthotics/Pedorthics, and durable medical equipment.

Sports Physical Therapists

Noah Kaminsky, PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS

Noah received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Ithaca College and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Miami. He specializes in orthopaedic and sports rehabilitation and has experience treating professional and D1,D2, and D3 athletes. Noah has worked as a sports physical therapist for Raleigh Orthopaedic since 2015.  Prior to working in North Carolina, Noah worked in a sports medicine clinic in New York City.

He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  Noah is also an APTA board-certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS). He is certified in Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Kinesio Taping, and is credentialed to perform Dry Needling. Noah is also a Polestar Pilates-Based Rehabilitation Practitioner.  Noah is currently studying to become a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He works as the PT consultant for New York Nine baseball.


Jennifer DeRosa PT, DPT

Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science degree in HealthCare Management and a minor in Sports Medicine from UNC-Asheville. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Elon University. Jennifer specializes in orthopedic and sports and rehabilitations and has experience working treating athletes of all ages ranging from middle school to professional. She recently relocated to Raleigh area and joined the Raleigh Orthopedics team in May 2023. Prior to this she was in Charlotte, NC working at a sports training center. 

Jennifer has 17 years of clinical experience in physical therapy and is also an ATC. She has certifications in kinesio-taping, lymphedema, and is credentialed in Dry Needling through Myopain. Jennifer is currently studying to become an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. 


Sports Performance Specialists

Will Parker, CSCS, USAW

Will graduated from East Carolina University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise & Sports Science. He became a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) in 2007. From 2006-2008, Will was an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at NC State University working with Football, Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, Track & Field along with several other teams. In 2012, he earned a United States of America Weightlifting (USAW) Level 1 certification.

Will has worked as a Performance Specialist for Raleigh Orthopaedic since 2006. He has worked with athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and MLS along with many from Division 1, 2 & 3 Universities. Will specializes in performance evaluation, speed training (acceleration, absolute speed, lateral movement, multi-directional & deceleration), functional strength training (foundation, endurance, hypertrophy, max strength, power, and body composition), injury risk assessment, soft tissue treatment, increasing soft tissue elasticity and goal management.

Will enjoys interacting with his clients, helping them achieve their speed, strength and/or weight loss goals and subsequently set higher goals to work toward.


Desirea Hurley, CPT

Desirea graduated from Florida Southern College with her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Human Movement and Performance with a minor in Physical Education. Her passion for sports since she was a child led her to a career of running and teaching several sports leagues for youth/adults of all ages. 

After several years, she decided to transition into personal training. She became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine back in 2021. Since then, she has had the privilege of training people from all ages and skill levels. In 2022, she became certified in Assisted Stretching as well. Helping people become the best version of themselves is what motivates Desirea daily. 


Dino Salandro

Dino received his bachelors degree in Kinesiology from George Mason University and he is working to become a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). He has prior experience working as an exercise specialist at a physical therapy clinic in Northern Virginia, as well as working as a personal trainer, before he and his wife relocated to Raleigh this past summer. 

He has worked with post-op, orthopaedic and pediatric patients as well as high school and college level athletes, working with them in the clinic, the weight room and on the field. He also has experience training clients to pass the FBI and Army PFT.
