8^th Annual 24-Hour Bike Challenge
Friday, August 24 at 6 p.m. to Saturday, August 25 at 6 p.m.

Bring your team of friends, family and co-workers to the Raleigh Orthopaedic Performance Center for the 24-Hour Bike Challenge! Compete for prizes and support the Carolina Hurricanes Kids ‘N Community Foundation in this fun and challenging fundraiser.

About the 8^th Annual 24-Hour Bike Challenge

Who: Cycling teams (12+ recommended – no maximum number)

What: 24 hours of biking OR 12 hours of biking (in shifts of your choice!)

When: August 24 – August 25 from Friday at 6 p.m. until Saturday at 6 p.m.

Where: Raleigh Orthopaedic Performance Center
2400 Sumner Blvd., #120, Raleigh, NC 27616

Why: Help support the Kids ‘N Community Foundation to reach their goal of $20,000!

How: Gather a minimum donation of $50 from friends and family to help the Kids ‘N Community Foundation support the local community.

All proceeds benefit the Carolina Hurricanes Kids ‘N Community Foundation. As “The Heart of the Hurricanes,” the Kids ‘N Community Foundation strives to meet the health and educational needs of underserved populations and strengthen youth hockey in our community through programming and financial assistance to local, youth-oriented organizations.

How to Participate

• Select a division
  • 24-Hour – race on stationary PreCor 846i bikes for a 24-hour period starting at 6 p.m. on Friday and ending at 6 p.m. on Saturday
  • 12-Hour – race on stationary PreCor 846i bikes for a 12-hour period starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday and ending at 6 p.m. on Saturday
• Create or join a team of riders (12+ recommended)
• Register online
• Raise a minimum donation of $50 from family, friends and/or coworkers or donate a minimum of $50 – the donation form will be shared at a later date.

Unable to participate? Make a donation online to support a rider and the Kids ‘N Community Foundation!

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to the top team in each division based on total mileage. Prizes will also be given to the top fundraising team and the top two fundraising individuals.

Team Prizes
● 18-person suite to a 2018-19 Carolina Hurricanes game
*Must be on a mutually-agreed upon date

● Team members will receive two (2) tickets to a 2018-19 Carolina Hurricanes game
*Maximum of 30 total tickets – team will receive 15 vouchers; must be on a mutually-agreed upon date

Top Fundraising Team
● 18-person suite to a 2018-19 Carolina Hurricanes game
*Must be a mutually-agreed upon date

Top Two Fundraising Individuals
Top fundraising individual receives a team-signed Carolina Hurricanes jersey
2^nd place fundraising individual receives a team-signed Carolina Hurricanes replica hockey stick

Riders who raise more than $100 will be entered for a chance to win one of five prizes:
● Carolina Hurricanes team-signed replica home jersey
● Carolina Hurricanes team-signed replica alternate jersey
● Voucher for two (2) tickets to a 2018-19 Carolina Hurricanes home game
● Autographed photo of Carolina Hurricanes player
● Carolina Hurricanes team-signed replica hockey sticks

All riders will have an opportunity to win raffle prizes throughout the event.
